About the Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a full-time General Practitioner to join our team of dedicated health professionals in Kununurra, WA on a permanent basis.

This diverse role will see you work closely with a range of specialists to treat the full health spectrum. You will see patients in our modern clinic, as well as going out into the community, to see patients in homes and schools.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to make a real difference to the health and well-being of the Kununurra community. You will also have the opportunity to explore surrounding communities to provide outreach health.

About You 

♦  To be considered for this position you must be a Vocationally Registered GP (FRACGP, FACRRM, or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in WA. Demonstrated experience in general practice is also essential.

♦ You will be committed to providing culturally sensitive healthcare and demonstrate an interest in working closely with Aboriginal communities, to understand their health issues and work with them to find solutions.

♦  Experience working in Aboriginal or remote communities would be greatly beneficial, but not essential.

♦  A current Australian ‘C’ Class driver’s license or equivalent, and Federal Police clearance are both essential role requirements.
