HUMAN RESOURCE / CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVMENET OFFICER (HR/CQI)

Criterial for Applicants

  • A sound and practical understanding of HR, WHS, and Quality Management System with relevant qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of the current employment legislation, fair work, WHS, and the ability to interpret and represent internal HR policies
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Maintain Employment Hero (EH) System practice
  • Recruitment, selection, interview panel, induction and orientation
  • Ability to communicate with and conduct in-service, training and education sessions
  • Provide leadership in the area of HR, CQI and Logiqc QMS
  • Maintain the current framework, work with management to deliver outcomes and develop new organisational improvement activities
  • Together with relevant Managers ensure that the quality management framework (CQI in Action Plan) is consistent with appropriate national and international legislation
  • Coordinate accreditation processes including audits, policies and procedures, action plans and employee education
  • Identify accreditation standards, policies and procedures which need to be addressed to achieve ISO accreditation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including a high level of conceptual and analytical ability
  • Highly effective time management skills including the ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a high volume work environment
  • Ability to organise own workload with minimal direction and work as part of a team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal, oral and written communication skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative Acts that impact on the organisation and the subsequent account abilities Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent
  • Previous experience working the Aboriginal Community Control Sector
