NDIS Evidence an Access Coordinator

OVAHS is seeking a NDIS Evidence and Access Coordinator to facilitate NDIS scheme by assisting people living with disability to test eligibility and navigate the NDIS scheme.


Criteria for applicants


 Previous experience/knowledge working in the NDIS sector.

Be approachable, positive and respectful and has a contemporary attitude to people with disability.

Can demonstrate necessary skill sets to communicate in a culturally and appropriate way with community members.

Respect confidentiality and build trust.

Informed understanding and knowledge of the impact of disability on daily life and how reasonable and necessary supports can impact on a person’s ability to participate in community and economic life.

Has the ability to facilitate professional introduction and establish relationships between participants, their families and relevant stakeholders, service providers and pathway supports.

Ability to manage service delivery performance.

Provide strategic advice, problem solving and issues management for internal and external stakeholders in relation to complex and potentially controversial matters.

Provide strategic direction to work area, including developing strategies and priorities and monitor work flow and performance.


Previous experience within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service.
