About the Opportunity
OVAHS has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team in Kununurra, WA on a full-time basis.
Are you a dedicated professional with experience in disability support, case management, or community services? This is your opportunity to play a key role in empowering Aboriginal people across the North-East Kimberley region to achieve their NDIS goals and access the services they need to thrive.
As the NDIS Support Coordinator, you will work closely with NDIS participants, their families, service providers, and internal teams to implement and manage individual NDIS plans. You’ll be instrumental in building participants’ capacity to self-manage supports, promoting independence and choice, and ensuring the delivery of culturally safe and person-centred care.
You will also foster strong networks across the disability and health sectors to ensure participants are connected with appropriate, quality supports that reflect their individual needs and goals.

About You
You are a compassionate and capable professional with experience in disability support, case management, or related areas. You hold a minimum Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or similar, or equivalent experience, and are committed to empowering individuals through culturally safe and inclusive practices.
You bring:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Proven ability to coordinate services and navigate complex support systems;

Strong understanding of the NDIS, person-centred practice, and community-based service delivery;

The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote Aboriginal health context.
Experience working in Aboriginal communities and/or within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation will be highly regarded.
You’ll be based in Kununurra, a beautiful and remote part of Australia, and must be resilient, adaptable, and committed to building trust with the local community.
