OVAHS is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary primary health care service delivering clinical, allied health and mental health throughout Kununurra and surrounding communities. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team of professionals, based at our office in Kununurra.

 

About the role

This position is responsible for coordinating and delivering education and health promotion on FASD prevention for antenatal clients, the local community and service providers. This role provides information on family planning and sexual health to individual and group; and work closely with Child and Maternal Health unit whist ensuring the focus of care is on the need of Aboriginal clients within the context of their culture identity and social circumstance.

  1. Above Award wages: ACCHS Award, Grade 4: $79,992.43 – $84,924.53
  2. Rental allowance: $6240 per annum pro rata
  3. 12-month Annual Airfare $1800, on continued service

  5. additional two weeks of paid leave over the Christmas closure period, inclusive of public holidays.
